Got yr message Bill, thanks. It has gone from 7/8 clear sky to 3/8 clear in an hour. Cloud building from SW and looking grey. Will continue checking wx up till 8pm and decide. Cheers.

The next meeting of SAG (the AGM) will be held at the Albert Halls, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road, Stirling FK8 2QL at 3pm on Saturday 23rd February.

The next meeting of SAG is proposed to co-incide with a Society for Popular Astronomy event in Stirling in February. It was agreed that holding SAG's next meeting in Stirling could possibly attract more members to our group. Watch this space for more details as they become available. Iain

The Astronomical Society of Edinburgh is having get-together at the Observatory on Calton Hill, Edinburgh on the 21st December. As the subject states - mince pies, meade (hopefully) and if the skies are clear, a look at Mars will be available. All welcome.
